EMDR is an incredibly effective form of psychotherapy. It can also be a challenging one to implement. In training thousands of therapists for over twenty years, I have spoken to many participants who had wonderful training experiences, but seldom used EMDR with their patients. All the trainings I have developed, from the basic ones to the most advanced, are designed to provide not only the best possible instruction, but also to give you the structure and support you need to use EMDR in your clinical practice.

As of July 1, 2007, the EMDR International Association has expanded the hours necessary to complete the basic training in EMDR. Thus, the Part 1 and Part 2 trainings are longer. Also, a ten hour group consultation requirement has been added. All phases of the trainings and consultation need to be satisfactorily completed to meet these new requirements. |
